I’m planning to open commissions for non-written media in the future, but with my limited time outside my day job, I’m starting with written media translation projects only. Since I can work on these during commutes, breaks, or any downtime, I can deliver results more efficiently without needing a quiet space for audio and video.

Note: I’m okay with translating audios and videos, provided that there’s at least a text I can rely on in the audio/video. E.g., song lyrics with official lyrics, video recording of game scripts, etc.

Terms of Service

Payment

• Payment method via PayPal only.
• Client will bear PayPal fee. Calculation for the fee will be done by salescalc.
• Payments are paid upfront (full amount).
• Quotes are provided at no charge. If you choose not to proceed with a commission, kindly let me know.
• I have the rights to decline or cancel an order if I don’t think I can complete the order to a satisfactory standard. If in any case I am unable to complete your request, I will refund.
• No refunds if commission is cancelled by Client.

Process

• Commission inquiries are done through email to [email protected].
• Client will send all the materials needed for the commission.
• Estimated working time: 1,000~4,000 characters/day, depending on how dense the content is. Though for each 1,000~4,000 characters, give me 3 days to also proofread and edit before sending you the final product.
• For anything short (song lyrics, game excerpts, etc.), max. completion time is 1 week.
• I will send you the invoice after we have reached a deal.
• I will only start on the commission request after the payment is done.

Usage

• OK (strictly with credits):
  • sharing excerpts/quotes
  • uploading on wiki/fandom page
  • uploading on non-monetized platforms
  • using as a basis for your own creation (i.e., analysis, English cover songs, etc.) on both non-monetized and monetized platforms
• NOT OK:
  • Gaining monetary benefit from my translation work (i.e. publishing my translation as is/slightly edited on a monetized platform)
